Nature and Nurture Education

Children’s education service based in Staffordshire

What we do

Welcome to Nature and Nurture Education! We are a Clinical Psychology led, therapeutic educational provision for children who flourish outside of a mainstream environment. Our years of clinical knowledge and experience working in combination with excellent educators enables us to offer a truly therapeutic environment in which children can feel safe, and regulated. Within this environment, they are able to learn, develop skills, and achieve their full potential.

Our sister team, Nature and Nurture Psychology, is also based in Rugeley, and is a reputable provider of children and family psychological services, including attachment focused assessment and therapy, and neurodiversity assessments including autism, ADHD, and FASD.

Through secure relationships with highly skilled staff, children who attend Nature and Nurture Education can work towards their own unique goals, and experience secure attachment relationships, learn new skills both academic and practical, develop confidence and increase self-esteem. All of this takes place in an environment built with healthy child development in mind.

    Secure Relationships

Every interaction is grounded in trauma informed, attachment based practice. We prioritise safety, trust and consistent emotional support so that children can regulate, connect, and learn with confidence. We also value involving carers and families in our children’s journey with the service and we build strong relationships with families and professionals.

    Understanding Need

Our thorough pre-admission process and ongoing support allows us to truly understand the needs of our children, and through this we offer bespoke support so they can meet their own individual goals and needs.

Growth through Nature and Real Life Skills

Daily outdoor learning, forest school and vocational projects anchor academic study in real experience. Pupils gain accredited qualifications alongside life skills and build resilience that prepare them for the next steps, whether mainstream school, college, apprenticeships, or work.
